Yue Zhai

Hi everyone, my name is Zhai Yue.

I earned the teacher qualification certificate and mandarin Certificate level 1B from undergraduate school in China, and a master’s degree in Japanese language education at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. Studying and living in Japan for 8 years, I developed an attitude of being active, studious, and responsible. I worked in a Japanese IT company after graduation, meanwhile I was also a Japanese language teacher at the educational institutions, with a cumulative teaching time of 800 hours.

I came to the United States in 2019 with my family. Compared with the fast-paced and crowded life in Tokyo, I enjoy more of nature and peace living here. I am honored to join and work at Grand Rapid Chinese Language School (GRCLS) and have met enthusiastic parents and colleagues who are contributing to our community. Importantly, I have met groups of cute, sensible, innocent kids.

I like teaching, and I love children too, which motivated and prompted me to constantly study new teaching methods to prepare interesting courseware in the online class. Moreover, I will integrate my skill and experience of learning a second foreign language with a broad view to teach the Chinese language and culture.

I am currently teaching online classes of Grade 1 and Grade 3 & 4 at GRCLS. I will be waiting for you to join my class, let us enjoy the fun of learning Mandarin together!
