Xin Liu
My name is Xin Liu and I am from HeilongJiang Province, China.
I came to the United States about 3 years ago. In summer 2020, I decided to join GRCLS, as I very much appreciate its founding principles and philosophy . I had been an educator in China with more than ten years of teaching and management experience. I have tremendous passion for education. I graduated from Hunan Normal University with Early Childhood Education bachelor’s degree. I had high hope that after coming to the US, I could make use of my expertise. I was delighted to be a part of GRCLS to be able to continue my teaching while learning and collaborating with other distinguished educators to help many more students to learn Chinese language and understand the culture. Currently, I teach age group students and my special diversified teaching method include: Animation, Games, Singing and Drawing to stimulate students' interests in Chinese. Also through repetitions of writing Chinese characters, reading and performing formats to help students enlarge their vocabulary, enhance their abilities with solid foundation in all aspects of listening comprehension, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Interacting with age group students allows me to gain better understanding of American culture and family dynamics. Collaborating with colleagues enables me to integrated more advanced methods of teaching, therefore helps me reach a higher level of teaching to ensure greater progress made pertinent to students learning.
